Critically acclaimed concert pianist José García-León will perform a benefit concert for Songcatchers.

José García-León, a New Rochelle resident, is the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at The Juilliard School. After graduating with highest honors from the Conservatorio Superior de Sevilla, he moved to New York where he completed a Doctorate in Musical Arts at the Manhattan School of Music.
Dr. García-León is a first prize winner of numerous national and international competitions, including the Artist International Competition of New York. Dr. García-León has performed extensively throughout Europe, the U.S., Russia, Latin America and South East Asia. His recordings have been featured on national television and radio in Spain, the United States and Southeast Asia.
